What are your default interface options?

e-timecard can operate as a standalone module or integrate with the JAMIS product line. You must load files for employees, jobs, and all other master codes into e-timecard. If you are integrated with JAMIS, use the Import from JAMIS program to handle the initial load and subsequent updates. If you use e-timecard in standalone mode, you can manually create the master files, or you can use the Import From Third Party program to load the data from your current accounting system.

Once employees record hours in e-timecard, your company must export the data into the JAMIS Payroll module or a third-party product. You run the export manually. Each time you run the export, the program must know which time cards to export. You establish most default settings in the Initialization file, as this group of topics will show you. You can override some of the defaults on an exception basis during the export process.
