Selecting whether to create automatic emails
You can decide whether e-timecard and e-xpense create email records in the database. These parameters apply to the automatic email programs that run under the following circumstances.
e-timecard web application: Always runs, as long as you turn on the Create automatic emails for e-timecard check box.
System administration: Always runs, as long as you turn on the Create automatic emails for e-timecard check box. This relates to the emails that you can set up for jamiscron processes on the Company Setup screen, System Configuration tab.
e-xpense web application: Always runs, as long as you turn on the Create automatic emails for e-xpense check box.
These parameters do not apply to the manual e-timecard emails that you can run on the Email Notifications screen.
If your company uses automatic emails, then you should leave the Create automatic emails fields set to the default of turned on. If your company does not use automatic emails, then you can turn off these check boxes.
Because there are separate fields for e-timecard and e-xpense, you can send automatic emails for only one module, if you wish.
