Do you want the earning code to default in time card entry?
You decide whether you want the earning code to default for each job on every employee’s time card. The default setting for the Default earning codes on time cards (user-defined label) field is turned on, which means that the code that you enter in the Regular Earning Code field on the Employee Types screen will always default. If you turn off this check box, then the earning code does not default in e-timecard. Employees will always have to enter an earning code manually for every job in order to save the time card.
Note: Regardless of your setting for this parameter, the holiday earning code always defaults from the code that you enter on the Holiday Schedules screen.
