Entering a default earning code for regular time


You can enter a default earning code for regular time.

In e-timecard, the regular earning code that you enter in the employee type will always default for each job on every employee’s time card, unless either the employee enters an earning code manually before entering a job or the earning code defaults from the holiday schedule. If you don’t want the regular code to default, then you must go to the Parameter Setup screen and turn off the Default earning codes on time cards check box.

If you enter the regular code here before defining codes for individual employees on the Employee Earning Codes screen, then e-timecard automatically inserts it there for all employees attached to the employee type.
