Approval sequence

Your company procedures must determine the priority or default approval sequence. For example, you might decide that the time card approver approves current time cards, but if that person is not available, then the employee’s manager makes the decision.

Here’s another example. If you want employees’ managers to approve time cards before the companywide approver, then you can require the companywide approver to approve only time cards with a status of Partially Approved.

As an alternative to setting up multiple approvers on the e-timecard Initialization screen, Approvals tab, you can choose to designate alternate approvers on the Delegate Approval screen.
