Setting your company’s calendar
You can set up a calendar for your company. Your company’s calendar contains each year along with its start and end dates.
If your company checks employees’ annual maximum loaned labor hours, e-timecard uses the years that you define in the calendar to keep track of loaned labor.
To set up your company’s calendar
From the JAMIS Administration home page > Setup tab, under Application Setup, click Company setup. Or, from the top of any JAMIS Administration screen, click Application Setup > Company Setup. The Company Setup screen appears.
Click the Calendar tab. The screen displays all of the years that are already set up for your company.
Do one of the following.
To set up a new year, in the top section of the screen click Add.
To change an existing year, in the bottom section of the screen click Edit to the left of the year.
In the bottom section of the screen, calendar entry fields appear.
Enter a Year Number.
Enter a Start Date for the year.
Enter an End Date for the year.
Hint: You can enter dates manually. You can also click to the right of either date field to select a date from a calendar.
Click Update to save your calendar entries.
Note that if you ever need to delete a year from your calendar, you can: follow steps 1 and two above; click Delete to the right of the year; click OK in response to the confirmation message.
