Do you want to interface in summary or detail?


You can create the interface in one of two ways. Choose one of these options:

Create a detail record for every entry

When you leave the Interface in Summary check box unchecked, the program creates for each employee one detail record for every entry on the time card. In other words, each hours entry for each job line equals one record.

Create one record for each job and earning code

When you check the Interface in Summary box, the program creates for each employee one summary record for each job/earning code combination. In other words, all of the entries on one job line equal one record.

Note: To determine employee rate information when you export, the program uses the pay period date if you export in summary, or the date of the individual day if you export in detail.
