Do you want to allow changes to archived time cards?

In e-timecard, once time cards are approved, you must export them to JAMIS or a third-party payroll product. When you export a time card, the program removes the detail from the current transaction table and moves it to an archive table.

You have the option to allow users to go back to time cards that you’ve already exported. If you select one of the Modify options for the Access Archived Time Cards field, users can make changes to these time cards. If you select a Review option, users can view archived time cards in read-only format, but they cannot change them.

You can choose to give the same access to all users, or you can allow group timekeepers to have greater access than employees. For example, you can allow employees to only review archived time cards, but allow group timekeepers to make changes to them.

If you allow users to view or change archived time cards, then you must also enter the number of previous time card periods that they can access. e-timecard uses the number that you enter in the Number of Archived Periods field to count back from the current time card period. Note that if you enter 0, the program generates an error message and does not let you save until you enter a number greater than zero.
