Do you want the org9 to be optional in mass entry?

The default setting for the Org9 optional in mass entry (user-defined label) check box is turned on, meaning that the group timekeeper can enter an org9 as selection criteria, but it is not required. If you turn off this check box, then a group timekeeper must enter an org9 on the Mass Enter Time Cards or Mass Amend Time Cards screen in order to retrieve time cards.
