Allowing multi-level approval delegations

You can tell e-timecard to automatically forward approval delegations. We call this multi-level approval delegation. The default setting for the Allow multi-level approval delegation parameter is turned off, so you do not need to do anything if you want to use e-timecard without multi-level delegation.

This is how multi-level approval delegation works.

1. Approver A delegates time cards to approver B.

2. Approver B delegates time cards to approver C.

3. In the Approver dropdown list on the Approval View screen, approver C can see both approver A and approver B in the list of delegating approvers to select from.

Multi-level approval delegation applies only to e-timecard. There is currently no multi-level approval delegation option for e-xpense.
