Customizing itineraries

e-xpense lets you customize the Itinerary Information screen that employees access from their travel requests. You can select which questions appear in the General Information and Security Information sections of the screen, and you can edit the text of those headings and questions that you wish to display.

e-xpense looks to your changes to the itinerary messages to determine which headings and questions to display, and what text to display for those headings and questions.

Note: You cannot customize the headings or fields of the Travel Reservations and Hotel Information sections of the Itinerary Information screen.

Follow these steps to customize the Itinerary Information screen.

To customize itinerary headings and questions

  1. From the JAMIS Administration home page > Setup tab, under Application Setup, click Messages. Or, from the top of any JAMIS Administration screen, click Application Setup > Messages. The Messages screen appears.

  2. In the Filters section, enter the Message Number for which you want to change or remove the text of the itinerary heading or question. The following table lists all itinerary messages and their corresponding headings and questions.
