After you set up a user-defined field for jobs, cost elements, pre-authorization requests, expense distributions, or time card lines, you can change the user-defined field setup if needed. You can change anything about the field except for its business class and field length.
To change a user-defined field record
From the JAMIS Administration home page > Setup tab, under Application Setup, click User-defined fields. Or, from the top of any screen, click Application Setup > User-Defined Fields. The User-Defined Fields screen appears.
In the Filters section, select from the Business Class dropdown list the class to which the user-defined field that you want to change belongs. The bottom section of the screen lists all user-defined fields that you have set up for the business class that you select.
Click Edit to the left of the user-defined field that you want to change. JAMIS makes the fields that you can change editable.
Change data for the user-defined field as needed.
Click Update to commit your changes to the user-defined field data.
